Congo left-back Arthur Masuaku is set to bolster RC Lens for six months, joining on a straight loan from Sunderland. He steps in as a replacement for Deiver Machado, who departed for Nantes in December.

At 32 years old, Masuaku returns from injury following the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and is now fully fit to play. With 42 caps and 4 goals for DR Congo, he brings a wealth of experience to Lens, who currently sit second in Ligue 1.

Masuaku signed a two-year contract with Sunderland last summer, following his spell at Beşiktaş, and his current market value is estimated at €2.5 million.
