Brendan Rodgers is set to become the new head coach of Al-Qadisiyah, according to Asharq Al-Awsat. He will take over from Michel, who was dismissed following a run of disappointing results.

The Northern Irish manager, 52, left Celtic at the end of October and has since taken a break from football. This will be his first coaching assignment outside the British Isles. Al-Qadisiyah currently sits fifth in the Saudi Pro League. Rodgers is expected to be officially unveiled in the coming days.
