Chiesa Nearing Liverpool Exit After Being Dropped by Arne Slot

Italian forward Federico Chiesa's edging closer to leaving Liverpool during the ongoing summer transfer window following major decision by new head coach Arne Slot.

Omitted from Pre-Season Squad

Slot named 29 man squad for the Reds Asian tour but excluded Chiesa in what the club described as precautionary move due to concerns over his physical condition.

Chiesa joined Liverpool in August last year from Juventus in deal worth nearly 10 million sterling pound plus €2.5 million in add ons.

Despite his potential, the winger saw limited game time with Mohamed Salah dominating the right flank.

Departure Imminent?

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Italian international's now expected to leave Liverpool this summer with return to Serie A appearing to be the most likely outcome.

While his next destination remains undecided, Chiesa’s exit seems inevitable after missing out on the club’s crucial pre season preparations.

From Juve Star to Premier League Misfit

Chiesa was once a key figure at Juventus but contract renewal talks collapsed prompting his departure to England. However his stint at Anfield hasn’t gone to plan.
