On Tuesday night, Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring against Alavés (2-1) in La Liga. One goal, one record.

Kylian Mbappé netted his 41st goal of the season in all competitions for Real Madrid yesterday. According to Stats Foot, no French player had ever managed to surpass 40 goals in four consecutive seasons across the "five major European leagues".

Mbappé has now achieved this feat (41 goals in 2022-2023, 44 in 2023-2024, 44 in 2024-2025 and now 41 in 2025-2026).
