Sévérin Rodrigue Onana Speaks on the Parfait Djomeni Case

The new recruit of Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo, Sévérin Rodrigue Onana, has spoken out on the Parfait Djomeni case, which has caused an uproar in Cameroonian football.

The last line of defense for Victoria United was kidnapped and tortured by his president Valentine Nkwain, who accused him of match-fixing for betting purposes.

The Djomeni case is delicate; I think footballers should be treated better than that... They should simply feel safe. It's rare to experience such situations... Mr. Eto'o, as a former footballer, knows what to do to ensure proper treatment of footballers.

Complaints have been filed against Valentine Nkwain, the president of Victoria United, for kidnapping and violence. He faces serious consequences, especially since the accusations against him are very grave under Cameroonian law.
