West African Football Union (Zone A) announces six tournaments for 2026

The West African Football Union - Zone A (UFOA-A) has unveiled its competition schedule for 2026. Six tournaments are set to take place, each hosted by a different country in the region.

  1. The U-20 Women's Regional Championship will be held in Guinea-Bissau from March 1 to 20, 2026.
  2. Gambia will stage the Women's Champions League qualifiers from July 25 to August 9.
  3. Senegal will host the U-17 regional qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations from September 1 to 20.
  4. Mali will organize the UFOA-A U-20 qualifiers from October 6 to 26.
  5. Liberia will be the venue for the U-15 Women's qualifiers from November 21 to 28.
  6. The Amilcar Cabral Cup makes its much-anticipated return in Guinea from August 15 to 30, 2026.

The West African Football Union (Zone A) comprises nine nations: Gambia, Cape Verde, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.
