2026 World Cup: Christopher Nkunku’s dream with France

The 2026 World Cup is just five months away. Christopher Nkunku is dreaming of competing with Les Bleus.

While he was called up for the 2022 World Cup, Christopher Nkunku was ultimately forced to withdraw after picking up an injury in training. Now playing for AC Milan, the striker is determined not to miss out a second time and has his sights set on making Didier Deschamps’ squad for the 2026 World Cup.

"2022 was heartbreaking. For every footballer, playing in a World Cup is a dream. Now, I need to work hard to make it happen. France is so strong: we could field three teams and they would all be contenders, because our youth academies are world-class," the player told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
