Uganda continue their perfect run. The Cranes beat Libya 1-0 to move top of Group H in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Vula makes the difference

Arnold Vula scored the only goal of the match in the 45+2nd minute. Having already secured qualification as the host nation, the Cranes have made a strong start to their campaign and are posing major challenges for their opponents.

Libya remain bottom

Libya will finish the first two rounds without a win. The Mediterranean Knights began their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Botswana.

Earlier today, Botswana also snatched a 2-2 draw against Tunisia. In the standings, Libya are bottom, while Tunisia are third in Group H of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The next international match already appears decisive for the group’s only available qualification spot.
