2028 Olympics (W): No winner between Angola and Namibia

Angola and Namibia cancelled each other out. The two national teams played out a goalless draw at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda in the first leg of the second round of qualifying for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Angola were unable to make the difference at home. Namibia held on to the 0-0 draw until the final whistle. The two teams will have to settle the tie in the second leg to determine who qualifies for the next round.

South Africa lie in wait

The winner of this two-legged tie will face the winner of South Africa vs Madagascar. Banyana Banyana took a significant step in the first leg. South Africa thrashed Madagascar 4-0 and took a step towards qualifying for the third round of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
