2029 Club World Cup: which teams have already qualified?
Mamelodi Sundowns has become the sixth club to secure its ticket to the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup, following their triumph in the CAF Champions League against AS FAR on Sunday night.
The South African side took a decisive step towards the title with a first-leg victory (1-0), then held their opponents to a draw in the return fixture (1-1) away from home—a result good enough to claim the continental crown.

Thanks to this success, Sundowns becomes the second African representative already qualified for the global tournament, following Pyramids FC, who won the previous edition of the African Champions League.
Elsewhere, PSG secured their spot for Europe after their Champions League triumph. Al-Ahli Saudi qualified for Asia, Cruz Azul will represent CONCACAF, and Flamengo will fly the flag for South America.
The 2029 Club World Cup is expected to feature 32 teams split into eight groups, according to FIFA's new format.
