Djurgården continues to explore the Nigerian market. The Swedish club is currently hosting Musa Olusegun Lasisi, a 17-year-old striker who has travelled to Stockholm to discover the club’s facilities and environment. According to Djurgården, the player will remain there until October 22.

A new Nigerian prospect on trial

Lasisi plays as a striker and has experience with Grassrunners FC, like Angelo Agbejoye, who has already come through the Swedish club’s structures. The young Nigerian is described as a physically powerful striker. He stands 1.87 m tall, in particular, a profile that could interest Djurgården as the club looks for young talent.

During his stay, Lasisi will have the opportunity to train with PA19, the under-19 team, as well as with the first-team squad.

Djurgården continues its work in Nigeria

His arrival comes a few days after the announcement that two other young Nigerians had joined the club: centre-back Usman Emmanuel Inalegwu and striker Longi Aaron. All three players come from Ikonnekt Football Academy, confirming Djurgården’s interest in Nigeria’s talent pool.

For Lasisi, this period in Sweden therefore represents an opportunity to make an impression and discover the demands of European football. The club will now have several weeks to assess his potential before making a possible decision.
