Al Nassr: Ange Postecoglou reacts to the Cristiano Ronaldo affair in Portugal
Since Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Al-Nassr after his turbulent departure from the Portuguese national team camp. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner even appears to have regained his composure.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match against Al-Diriyah on the eighth matchday of the Saudi league, Ange Postecoglou reassured everyone about CR7’s condition. “Ronaldo is in good shape and mentally and physically ready, which is the most important thing for us,” the Australian coach said, according to comments reported by A Bola.
Asked about the tensions between Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Jorge Jesus, the Al-Nassr coach preferred not to take a position: “I have already been a national team manager, and I did not like club coaches commenting on what was happening within the national team. That is why I will not discuss this subject.”
