Andy Delort's return to Montpellier lasted only a few months. And it is not expected to continue. Loaned by MC Alger until June 2025, the Algerian forward has failed to impress.

At 33, the Algerian international is expected to return to Algeria this summer, hoping to bounce back with MC Alger. Montpellier, on the other hand, is preparing to rebuild in Ligue 2. The club has no time to waste, and even less room for unfruitful gambles.
