Ballon d'or: Casillas makes his pick between Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé

Real Madrid legend Casillas has weighed in on the 2025 Ballon d'Or, revealing his top choice.

Speaking on Tuesday at the launch of the Movistar space in collaboration with LaLiga, Casillas settled the debate between Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé, especially in the race for the 2025 Ballon d'Or. "Dembélé and Lamine are the two favorites. They've had an outstanding season and deserve to be in contention. Lamine has been excellent, but what makes the difference is the Champions League," he explained.

For the Madrid icon, the 18-year-old prodigy "is the most decisive player in Spanish football", and if the trophy slips away this year, "he will definitely win it in the future". We'll have the answer next Monday.
