This season, Aït-Nouri has managed just 15 minutes in the Premier League along with a single EFL Cup outing. Even so, that did not deter Hemdani from naming him in his squad for the September and October fixtures.

Brahim Hemdani comments on the situation of Rayan Ait-Nouri

Brahim Hemdani has now addressed Rayan Aït-Nouri's situation, with TSA-Algérie relaying the manager's remarks.

"Those who want to speculate, speculate. I won't get into these speculations. There's a situation that has been handled. There's the Federation's statement. However brief it may be, it is what it is," he said. He went on to add: "Everything that happens in relation to this situation will be handled amicably, and whatever we do will be my decision, you will be informed in due course."

The implication is that the manager has yet to settle the question of whether the Manchester City player will represent Algeria again, and the outlet notes that Hemdani's words make clear he alone will make the call.
