The Confederation of African Football (CAF) lifted the veil this Sunday, May 25, on the brand new design for the CAF Confederation Cup trophy, just hours before the highly anticipated final showdown between Renaissance de Berkane (Morocco) and Simba SC (Tanzania).

The new trophy was unveiled in an official video released on CAF’s website and digital platforms. The design is modern, inspired by the identity of the African continent and infused with its sporting values.

The governing body of African football emphasized that this new model symbolizes ambition, unity, and excellence within the continent’s football scene.

Second leg final: Berkane faces the big Tanzanian challenge of Simba SC

The Amaan International Stadium in Zanzibar plays host this Sunday to the return leg of the 2024-2025 CAF Confederation Cup final, pitting Renaissance de Berkane against Simba SC. A clash that promises fireworks on every front.

After a commanding 2-0 victory in the first leg, played on Saturday, May 17 at Berkane Municipal Stadium, the Moroccan side has a firm grip on the title race. This result allows them to approach the second leg with confidence.

Already crowned in 2020 and 2022, Renaissance de Berkane is looking to cement its status among the giants of African football.

On the other side, Simba SC is playing its first ever continental final at home. The Tanzanian club is dreaming of a sensational comeback to claim the very first Confederation Cup trophy in its history.
