CECAFA U-17 Championship: Where can you watch the matches live?

The CECAFA Championship qualifiers for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations are continuing at full pace in Kigali. Three matches will be played this Monday, October 13.

Today's schedule in Kigali

The tournament continues in Rwanda, with three group-stage matches taking place this Monday. South Sudan face Sudan in the highly anticipated Nile derby. Burundi will also meet Ethiopia as they seek to regain their balance after their heavy defeat in the opening round. Tanzania, the defending champions, will take on Somalia. The teams are aiming to secure a place in the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations. At the end of the tournament, two countries will earn qualification places in the continental finals.

Tanzania and Uganda enter the tournament as the leading contenders

Tanzania are looking to retain their title. The defending champions enter the tournament determined to confirm their regional dominance. Uganda have already sent out a strong message. The Young Cranes, runners-up in the last two editions and 2024 champions, began their campaign with a resounding 8-0 win over Burundi, thanks to a hat-trick from young Scotsman Sebastian Fischer Quinn.

Where can the matches be watched?

The matches will be broadcast live on the CECAFA Online YouTube channel. The platform is showing all the tournament matches free of charge.
