Champions League: Raphinha believes FC Barcelona are well-equipped

FC Barcelona have still been unable to taste Champions League glory since their last title in 2015. But now, Raphinha believes Flick’s team are well-equipped to claim the trophy this season.

FC Barcelona captain Raphinha believes that this year, the Blaugrana are well-equipped enough to lift the trophy.

"The semi-final against Inter in 2025 was the most painful. Against Atlético Madrid last season, we could have qualified. We could talk about what might have happened differently, and the refereeing decisions. But against Inter, we already had one foot in the final, and losing in that way was very difficult. We are a young team – that is not an excuse – and sometimes we lack the maturity needed to handle decisive moments. This season, we are more mature and better prepared. If we continue like this, with this state of mind, we can aim for the title. We have everything we need," the Brazilian told The Guardian.
