Dembélé is not injured, but he will not participate in the upcoming match with Paris Saint-Germain
Ousmane Dembélé looks set to sit out yet another Paris Saint-Germain fixture — and on this occasion, there is no injury to point to as the cause.
Ousmane Dembélé will not play against Le Mans
According to the freshest reports, the French winger has been handed an extra spell of rest by PSG, which rules him out of Saturday's Ligue 1 meeting with Le Mans on October 10. The game is due to be staged at the Parc des Princes. Crucially, the report makes it explicitly clear that Dembélé is not injured, with his absence being put down purely to additional time off.
What makes this all the more notable is that it already marks the second occasion during the 2026/27 season on which the Parisian club have reportedly chosen to give their star attacker extra rest rather than name him in the matchday squad.
The first instance came on August 28, when Dembélé was absent for PSG's trip to Lille after being granted six days off. That Ligue 1 fixture finished in a 2-2 draw. Now, less than two months on, the winger is expected to miss another league game in strikingly similar fashion.
