Liverpool Reds superstar Mohamed Salah will not feature in Egypt’s friendly match this Monday.

Mohamed Salah will not take part in Egypt’s friendly against Cape Verde on Monday. The winger is simply being rested and will return to Liverpool. The Egyptian Football Federation confirmed in an official statement that their star is being given a scheduled break after playing the full semi-final of the Al Ain tournament against Uzbekistan, which ended in a 2-0 defeat last Friday.

“Rest has been granted to Mohamed Salah, who will not take part in the friendly against Cape Verde,” the Pharaohs stated in their announcement.
