Eintracht Frankfurt: The Elye Wahi saga is frustrating the club's management
Earlier this week, RMC Sport revealed that OGC Nice is considering bringing Elye Wahi back. At the same time, the Ivorian international no longer has unanimous support at Eintracht Frankfurt. The situation has reached a point where the club's management is visibly annoyed.
On Thursday, Bild provided further details on the matter. The German outlet explained that the Ivorian striker has returned from his break and is back in training with his club. Elye Wahi is training as usual and has not been sidelined. However, the club's intention is to see him leave as soon as possible. Eintracht Frankfurt no longer wants to continue with him.

Bild also reports that Wahi does not want to stay in Frankfurt. Two or three clubs are interested in him, but none have made concrete moves or submitted an offer yet, even though the player's agents are working hard behind the scenes and actively negotiating.
According to the same source, this uncertainty over his future is starting to seriously irritate Eintracht’s management. The club’s leaders are now frustrated because the situation isn’t moving along quickly enough for their liking. They are hoping for a swift resolution. The same goes for Michy Batshuayi (32), who has also been told he should move on.
