FA Cup: semi-final matchups revealed

The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals, recently held, has unveiled the highly anticipated matchups in the tournament’s penultimate round.

Conducted after the quarter-finals, the draw confirmed Leeds United’s qualification, as they edged past West Ham on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Elsewhere, Manchester City emphatically booked their place in the semi-finals by thrashing Liverpool 4-0. Chelsea, meanwhile, gave Port Vale no chance, running out emphatic 7-0 winners.

In addition, Southampton caused a major upset by knocking out Arsenal, one of the tournament favourites, with a 2-1 victory.

The semi-final fixtures:

• Chelsea vs Leeds United

• Manchester City vs Southampton

Both matches will be played on April 25 and 26 at Wembley Stadium, located in north-west London.
