FC Barcelona: Lamine Yamal's new salary revealed!

It's now official: Lamine Yamal has extended his contract with FC Barcelona this Monday, May 27. At just 17 years old, the Masia prodigy has signed a historic agreement, tying him to the Catalan club until 2031. And this extension comes with a spectacular pay rise.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the new deal sets his weekly wage at €575,000, up from €35,000 previously.

This sixteen-fold increase makes him the club's second highest-paid player, just behind Robert Lewandowski (€640,000/week), but ahead of Frenkie de Jong (€365,000/week), whose own extension could involve a pay cut as Barça continues to navigate financial uncertainty.

Yamal breaks into the Top 10 highest-paid players in Europe!

With more than €2.3 million per month, Yamal now enters the elite circle of the ten best-paid footballers in Europe, just behind Kylian Mbappé (€2.67 million/month).

This move sends a powerful message from the Catalan giants: a firm commitment to youth. Other Masia talents like Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, or Marc Casado could also see their salaries boosted in the coming months.
