French Cup: Elye Wahi leads Nice to the final

Elye Wahi shone brightly on April 22 in the French Cup semifinals. The Ivorian international delivered a decisive brace against Strasbourg (2-0), propelling Nice into the final.

Despite Strasbourg's early dominance, Nice made the most of their rare chances. From the opening whistle, Elye Wahi was on fire, opening the scoring in the 51st minute after a pass from Jonathan Clauss (1-0). He then sealed the victory in the 82nd minute, calmly converting a penalty earned by Mohamed-Ali Cho into the second goal (2-0).

Thanks to Wahi's heroics, Les Aiglons can now dream of lifting the French Cup again, 27 years after their last triumph. The final showdown will be against Lens on May 22.
