Friendly: Marmoush and Manchester City overturn Atlético Madrid
Following their win against the K-League Stars (3-1) three days ago, Manchester City continued their strong pre-season by overpowering Atletico Madrid (3-1) this Sunday in Seoul.
Yet, it was the Colchoneros who drew first blood through Dominguez (43rd minute). But the Citizens of Manchester City dramatically turned the game around in just two minutes, courtesy of a brace from Egyptian international Marmoush (57', 59'), both times set up by Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo. However, Marmoush’s second goal was marred by an offside position—an infringement that went unpunished as there was no VAR available for friendlies.
