KRC Genk is on the verge of bringing in Rafiu Durosinmi. The Belgian club has reportedly reached an agreement with Pisa to sign the 23-year-old Nigerian striker.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the transfer fee is expected to range between €10 and €11 million, with possible bonuses included. Pisa could also secure a percentage of any future resale of the player. This move would be historic for Genk, as Durosinmi would become the most expensive signing in the club’s history.

The Nigerian forward played 12 Serie A matches last season, scoring once and providing one assist. Also courted by Trabzonspor, Benfica, and West Ham, Rafiu Durosinmi ultimately chose to continue his career in Belgium, where Genk is counting on his attacking potential.
