Getafe: Dani Carvajal set to sign at last

Spanish defender Dani Carvajal is finally expected to join Getafe. The green light for the deal to go through reportedly came from LaLiga.

Having been a free agent since leaving Real Madrid this summer, Dani Carvajal had not had a club since the start of the season. The Spanish right-back received offers from more exotic destinations. However, he preferred to remain in Europe to continue competing at a high level.

Carvajal set to sign for Getafe

Although the deal appeared to have fallen through a few days ago, Dani Carvajal will join Getafe. The Spanish club pursued the opportunity at the urging of its coach, José Bordalas. Interested in remaining in Madrid while playing for an established La Liga club qualified for the UEFA Conference League, Dani Carvajal is set to arrive.

According to Matteo Moretto, Dani Carvajal is currently exchanging documents with the club from the suburbs of the Spanish capital.
