Harry Kane's future: Bayern Munich sets the record straight

Will Harry Kane extend his stay at Bayern? The club's sporting director has provided an update in recent hours.

As has been the case for several days, Bayern Munich continues to hold intensive talks with Harry Kane, particularly regarding an extension beyond June 2027. Both parties have yet to start concrete negotiations over a new deal, as explained by the Bavarian club's sporting director, Max Eberl.

"We are in discussions, but that doesn't mean negotiations have started. We are having intensive talks with Harry, and the next steps will follow. All I can say is that we are in close contact with Harry regarding his situation and our success," said the club official at a press conference ahead of the German Cup quarterfinal against RB Leipzig.
