Iñaki Williams suffers a new serious injury!

A triumphant night for Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League was swiftly overshadowed by a moment of collective dread. While the Basque side secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Qarabağ, the win came at a cost that silenced celebrations.

The concern was first ignited when their dynamic forward, Iñaki Williams, was forced into an early, untimely exit in the first half. The sight of him leaving the pitch cast a long shadow over the result, leaving fans and teammates awaiting news with bated breath.

That news has now arrived, and it confirms their worst fears. In an official statement, the club delivered a sobering medical update. Williams, the heartbeat of their attack, has not suffered a simple knock. The diagnosis points to a significant setback: "a serious injury to the long adductor muscle in his right leg, with tendon involvement."

Currently, the player has begun his rehabilitation journey within the familiar walls of the Lezama training center. However, this detailed and grave diagnosis transforms a moment of European glory into a story of resilience, marking the beginning of a challenging and uncertain period for both the player and his club.
