Jack Lahne is looking for a new club

Jack Lahne is looking for a new club after leaving SC Austria Lustenau during the summer. According to LT-sporten, the Zambian forward is currently training with Nordic United, a Superettan club in Sweden’s second division.

A new step after his spell in Austria?

Developed at IF Brommapojkarna, Jack Lahne joined French club Amiens SC in the summer of 2019. However, he was unable to establish himself there and went out on several loans before leaving the club permanently in 2024. The forward then joined Egersunds IK in Norway before signing for SC Austria Lustenau in January 2025. During his final season in Austria, he scored nine goals in 29 league matches.

Now without a club, the 24-year-old is looking for a new opportunity to continue his career. Training with Nordic United allows him to maintain his fitness while exploring the possibilities available to him.

Nordic United makes no promise of signing him

Nordic United coach Steven Younan confirmed Lahne’s presence with the group and said that he was also expected to continue training the following week. “He was here and wanted to continue, and he will be here again next week,” the coach told LT-sporten. However, he was keen to clarify the situation:

Just because he is training with us does not mean he will sign for us next year. He is from Stockholm, he is looking at which clubs might interest him, and we always want to make ourselves available to help him.

No signing or advanced negotiations have therefore been announced at this stage.

Our analysis

At 24, Jack Lahne is looking to bounce back after several experiences abroad and a productive season in front of goal in Austria. His nine league goals could help attract the attention of clubs looking for an attacking reinforcement.

For Nordic United, welcoming the forward to training does not represent a commitment to signing him. Above all, the club is giving him the opportunity to continue his preparations while he considers his options. The next step will depend on the opportunities available and any potential team’s interest in his services.
