June FIFA window: Amir Abdou calls up 25 players

Head coach Amir Abdou has unveiled a 25-man Stallions squad for the upcoming friendlies against Russia on June 5 and Belarus on June 9, 2026, during the international break.

Team captain Bertrand Traoré and Issa Kaboré are the most notable absentees from this list.
Adalo Sani, right-back for AS Douanes, is the only player from the domestic Faso Foot league to receive a call-up from the coach.

Arthur Zagre, left-back for Excelsior Rotterdam and a Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate, joins the Stallions for the first time in his career.

The Burkina Faso national team will use these two matches as preparation for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where they are drawn in Group F alongside Benin, Mauritania, and the Central African Republic.
