Egyptian international Mohamed Salah is already attracting a wave of praise at Trabzonspor, just days after his official arrival at the Turkish club during the summer transfer window.

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan revealed that Mohamed Salah’s arrival was not just a top-level sporting boost, but also generated significant economic and media benefits.

According to him, the announcement of the Egyptian star’s signing led to a sharp increase in ticket sales, allowing the club to cover a substantial part of the operation’s cost.

Head coach Fatih Tekke was also full of praise for the former Liverpool player, whom he considers one of the greatest footballers on the planet.

"For me, Mohamed Salah is among the top three players in the world. He also has one of the greatest careers in Premier League history," said the Turkish coach.

He added: "Having a player of Mohamed Salah’s caliber brings huge confidence to the team. But, in the end, our success will ultimately depend on collective work on the pitch."

The same tune comes from Metihan Mimaroglu, who didn’t hide his admiration for the Egyptian recruit.
