La Colombe Sportive du Sud crowned champions of Cameroon
La Colombe Sportive du Sud has officially been crowned champions of Cameroon for the 2025-2026 season. The Sangmélima side demolished Fovu Azur with an emphatic 7-0 victory on Sunday, June 28, in the final matchday to seal their title triumph.
This marks a second consecutive championship for the builders from the South. After their 2025 title, La Colombe continues its dominance, firmly asserting its supremacy in the Elite One championship.
The title race was decided by the slimmest of margins. La Colombe finished the season with 55 points, level with Dynamo Douala. However, it was goal difference that proved decisive for the Sangmélima outfit, who routed Fovu Azur 7-0 in the season finale.
The champions recorded 16 wins, 7 draws, and 3 defeats in 26 matches, boasting a fiery attack with 47 goals scored and only 13 conceded.
La Colombe Sportive du Sud will represent Cameroon in the Caf Champions League.
