Ligue 2. Mohamed Koné joins Annecy

FC Annecy strengthens its squad for the new season. Mohamed Koné signs on until 2029.

In Annecy, Mohamed Koné has put pen to paper on a 3-year contract. At just 19 years old, the central midfielder is set to make his professional debut in Ligue 2. He arrives from the reserve team of Aston Villa.

Developed at ASEC Mimosas, he broke into the first team at just 17 before trying his luck in England. He joined Aston Villa in the summer of 2025 after a successful trial.
