Linafoot: Sidou Mboy signs two-year deal with TP Mazembe
After a stellar season with Don Bosco, Sidou Mboy has joined the Congolese champions. The midfielder has signed a two-year contract with TP Mazembe.
Following an outstanding run with the Salesians, the 29-year-old became a free agent at the end of his contract. He has now committed to a deal running until June 30, 2028, with the Badia Ngwena. Thanks to his significant impact under the leadership of Pamphile Mihayo and later Kasongo Ngando in Linafoot, Mboy was one of the cornerstones of CS Don Bosco.
The former Vita Club player is returning to the top of Linafoot 1. According to FootRDC, he was also targeted by Saint Eloi Lupopo, but ultimately chose Mazembe, which he considered the most convincing option.
With this new addition, the Ravens have reinforced their midfield as they gear up for a return to the CAF Champions League. The signing partly compensates for the departure of Madou Zon to APR FC.
