Liverpool: Who will replace Ibrahima Konaté?

Ibrahima Konaté's contract is nearing its expiration, and Liverpool still doesn't know whether he'll extend his stay or depart this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, the Reds already have three candidates in mind to fill his shoes if Konaté leaves the club: Jérémy Jacquet (20, Stade Rennes), Marc Guéhi (25, Crystal Palace), and Nico Schlotterbeck (26, Borussia Dortmund).

For now, Liverpool's priority is to extend Konaté's contract, but the club is bracing itself in case the French international opts for a move away. Starting January 1, 2026, he will be free to negotiate with other clubs and can even sign a pre-contract.
