Man City: financial accusations, Louis van Gaal has regrets

For several days now, Manchester City has been facing numerous financial accusations. Former Manchester United Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal has regrets.

Apparently, Manchester City's financial breaches may have cost Louis van Gaal his position as United manager. In 2016, Manchester United had finished fifth in the Premier League, level on points with the Sky Blues. City finished fourth thanks to a better goal difference. Having missed out on the Champions League, the Dutch coach was sacked despite winning the FA Cup.

"you can't turn back time", Louis van Gaal

"That was the decisive factor in my dismissal from Manchester United, with all the consequences and suffering that followed. I can't turn back time now, nor can the English FA. Ultimately, it is for the judge to decide," the coach told The Athletic.
