Manchester City: Pep Guardiola does not want his work to be tarnished

Faced with the financial accusations against Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is defending all of his work at the English club.

Before slamming the door this summer, Pep Guardiola had been Manchester City’s manager for ten years. The Spanish coach did not wait long to break his silence after seeing the Sky Blues officially found guilty of 114 financial breaches. « I want every Manchester City supporter to know that I am here, more than ever. I support, I have always supported and I will always support my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran (Soriano), the players, the staff, Enzo (Maresca) and you, our exceptional supporters. Let this be clear: we will overcome this ordeal together. I love you all », he had declared.

With Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has won 18 titles with the Cityzens, including one Champions League, 6 Premier League titles, 3 FA Cups and 5 League Cups. The Spaniard has no intention of allowing himself to be tarnished by the Manchester City scandal. Indeed, AS reports that Guardiola does not want the work he accomplished at City to be tainted, even by the Premier League investigation.
