The chapter has officially closed between Nottingham Forest and Willy Boly. On Wednesday, June 10, the Premier League club confirmed the departure of the Ivorian center-back, whose time at the City Ground has come to an end. Having joined the Reds back in 2022, the experienced defender is now set to embark on a fresh journey elsewhere after no renewal was offered.

With his contract running out on June 30, Boly finds himself without any extension proposal from the club’s management. This brings to a close a three-year spell during which the Ivorian featured 47 times for Nottingham Forest, finding the net on two occasions and registering one assist. Now a free agent, the 33-year-old is officially on the lookout for his next opportunity in football.
