Official: Bernardo Silva joins Real Madrid

Real Madrid continues to strengthen its squad in this summer transfer window, most notably with the signing of midfielder Bernardo Silva.

Free after his contract with Manchester City expired, the Portuguese star officially signed with Los Blancos this Wednesday, committing to the club until June 2028. Sought after by both FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in recent weeks, the former Manchester City man ultimately chose the Spanish giants.

This signing comes following the intervention of new Madrid coach José Mourinho.
