It's officially over between Hakim Ziyech and Wydad Casablanca. The Moroccan club announced the end of the former Chelsea player's time with the club, as he is now a free agent.

"This chapter may not have lasted as long as we hoped," Wydad wrote in its farewell message this Sunday. The Moroccan club thanked the Moroccan international for wearing its colors and assured everyone that he will remain "a member of the Wydad family." Ziyech scored 8 goals in 12 appearances.

Hakim Ziyech is now free to choose his next destination. In recent hours, the former Ajax player's name has been circulating outside of Morocco, with rumors suggesting a possible move to Brazil, specifically to Botafogo. At 33, Hakim Ziyech, who has also played for Chelsea and Galatasaray, could thus embark on a new adventure after this shortened stint at Wydad Casablanca.
