Paris FC: Adama Camara officially extends his contract
Paris FC have announced the extension of Adama Camara’s contract until June 2028. Initially under contract until 2027, the Malian right-back has been granted an additional year after establishing himself as an important player in the squad.
Camara has established himself in the Parisian starting XI
Having arrived in the summer of 2023, Adama Camara gradually earned his place at Paris FC. Born in Bondy, the defender managed to establish himself permanently in the team despite an unusual career path, having never come through an academy. Under Liam Rosenior, he has been given an important role.
During the first five matchdays of Ligue 1 in the 2026-2027 season, he played every minute available, confirming his consistency and the confidence placed in him by his coach. The Malian also contributed to the club’s progress, as it secured promotion to the top flight at the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Solid statistics since his arrival
In 109 appearances for Paris FC in all competitions, Adama Camara has scored six goals and provided one assist. In Ligue 1, he has made 34 appearances and scored once. At 29, the full-back also has some international experience with Mali, for whom he has one cap. This contract extension allows him to continue his career in an environment he now knows well.
For Camara, this contract extension represents a vote of confidence and an opportunity to continue establishing himself at the highest level of French football. No other change to his status or role has been announced: the key point of this decision is the club’s desire to retain a player who is already well established in its squad.
