Pereira Plans Around Aït-Nouri: “He’s Top Quality”
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Vitor Pereira's made it clear that he plans to keep hold of Algerian full back Rayan Ait Nouri beyond the current season.
A Star Too Valuable to Lose
Linked with move away from Wolves since last summer, Ait Nouri chose to stay and has flourished under Pereira’s guidance. His consistent performances have placed him among the top left backs in the PL this season.
Speaking to the Shropshire Star, Pereira said:
“If you were in my place, what would you do? You’d want him to stay, right? Of course I want him here with us , he’s top quality and we want to keep our best players next season”
Wolves Plan for Stability, Not Rebuild
Pereira emphasized his strategy to retain the club’s core players and limit summer transfers:
“I’m not looking to rebuild from scratch. That’s not the way forward”
He continued praising the 22 year old:
“Ait Nouri's high level player and I believe he can improve even more next season. I’ll work with him on his weaknesses and I’m confident he’ll return stronger and more versatile”
Ait Nouri's under contract with Wolves until Jun 2027 & has market value of 35 million euro according to Transfermarkt.
