PSG: Luis Enrique enthuses over Désiré Doué

This Friday, Luis Enrique was highly anticipated as he returned to the press conference. This was particularly the case after three weeks of the international break.

Among the questions, Luis Enrique was frequently asked about the level shown by his players with their national teams, from Ousmane Dembélé to Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué. Having enjoyed a good spell with the France national team, the Parisian winger received praise from his coach at Paris Saint-Germain.

“As always, he’s a machine; he plays football very well. He can have matches in which he is not precise, like Ousmane, Kvara, Fabian, like all players. I’m not worried. What interests me is what he shows and being ready to come on at any moment. Being ready on the bench and in training is something difficult to achieve,” said Luis Enrique, who also defended another player under his management who has been struggling more, Ousmane Dembélé.
