Real Madrid: social media post, Mourinho reportedly reprimanded Mbappé

At Real Madrid, the controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappé continues to stir the White House.

While he is being criticised in Spain for his behaviour during his recovery after a video was published showing him cycling, Kylian Mbappé was reportedly seriously reprimanded by José Mourinho yesterday morning. According to revelations from El Chiringuito, the two men had a one-on-one conversation over breakfast in Valdebebas.

During the conversation, José Mourinho reportedly reproached Mbappé for publishing the video, even though he himself had recently explained that a footballer should avoid cycling because of the risk of injury. "Outside, I will defend you when I am asked about it, but here, no, I will not defend you," The Special One reportedly told him. Mbappé, who is recovering from a left-knee injury, hopes to return to action against Villarreal on Saturday.
