Stade Rennais appears unwilling to let Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal go this summer. Fulham's bid has been turned down.

Still under contract until June 2028, Moroccan centre-back Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal is firmly in Stade Rennais' plans for the upcoming season. According to information from L'Equipe on Tuesday, the Breton club has indeed rejected an approach from Fulham. The bid, revealed in early August, was reportedly worth over €20 million for the Moroccan international in this summer transfer window.

Stade Rennais' management is not considering letting the young talent leave unless an "irrational" offer comes in. For now, the Premier League side does not seem likely to make such a proposal.

That's a boost for Rennes manager Franck Haise, who is eager to pair Aït Boudlal with Charlie Cresswell at the heart of his defence this season.
