Bayern Munich unveiled their new Moroccan maestro in spectacular fashion as Ismael Saibari orchestrated a late offensive masterclass to seal a 5-1 demolition of VfB Stuttgart in the opening fixture of the 2026 /27 Bundesliga season.

A record-breaking 10 minutes

Arriving this summer from PSV Eindhoven in a massive €50 million transfer, expectations for Saibari were sky high.

Introduced as a second half substitute, the Moroccan international wasted absolutely no time writing his name into the German record books.

According to global statistics network Opta, Saibari became only the sixth player in the 21st century to provide two assists in his Bundesliga debut.

More impressively, he achieved this milestone in just 10 minutes, making him the fastest player in the history of the competition to record a debut brace of assists.

Saibari completely transformed the late stages of the match with his vision and precise passing:

• 82nd Minute: The Moroccan star perfectly picked out midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović to score Bayern's fourth goal of the evening
• 90+2 Minute: In stoppage time, Saibari sliced through the Stuttgart defense once more delivering a pinpoint assist for newly acquired forward Luis Díaz to round off the 5-1 thrashing.
