Thérence Koudou joins Belgium

It's official: Thérence Koudou is leaving Pau FC after just one season in Ligue 2.

The young 20-year-old French-Ivorian right-back is heading to Belgium, signing with KV Mechelen until June 2029. The announcement was made this Wednesday, July 23, by the Belgian club through its social media channels.

Having joined Pau from ESTAC, Koudou showed plenty of promise despite a collectively challenging season. His speed, ability to surge forward, and defensive solidity caught the eye of Mechelen's scouts. It's a great opportunity for Koudou, who will now experience top-flight Belgian football in the colors of KV Mechelen.
