The decisive goal came in the 63rd minute, following a precise pass that was finished with a winning strike. Initially suspected of being offside, the move was validated after a VAR review, allowing the Madrid club to secure three valuable points.
Rewarded for his performance, Diomandé was also named man of the match.
On Instagram, the Ivorian striker expressed his emotions: " This goal means far more than words can express. My first La Liga goal is for you, my sister. You will always be in my heart.
