Ange M’poli M’TOAMA is a Beninese journalist from the municipality of Cobly, in the Atacora Department, located in northwestern Benin. Born on January 27, 1988, he grew up between the northern and southern regions of the country, an experience that gave him an early and in-depth understanding of Benin’s social, cultural, and political realities.
After earning his high school diploma in 2007 in Abomey-Calavi, he continued his studies at the Université d’Abomey-Calavi, where he first specialized in Human Resources Management before turning to journalism.
He began his media career through university journalism and radio, notably at Radio Univers, the university's radio station. Between 2014 and 2020, he successively served as Head of the Sports Department, Editorial Secretary, and Editor-in-Chief. These six years enabled him to develop strong expertise in news coverage, editorial management, and newsroom leadership.
He later joined the national print media by becoming a journalist at Le Potentiel, where he mainly covered political and sports news. He subsequently continued his career with the newspaper Fraternité, reporting on political, social, and sports affairs.
